Coffee Wagera celebrated the Independence Day by planting trees at the Urban Forest!

Our Independence Day ritual is to recite the national anthem outside the outlet. We also invite customers, and neighboring shopkeepers to join us. This year was no different. It’s unrehearsed, unprofessional and imperfect… but we did it.

This year team CW also planted 20+ trees at the Urban Forest located at Clifton and we were so happy to see the support from Karachi Homeschoolers, moms and kids, and some other customers who joined us!

Urban Forest is a collection of trees that grow within a city. It helps to clean the air by absorbing odors and pollution, soaks up rainwater that may otherwise create flooding and provide animal habitat and shade.

Urban Forest takes Rs.1000 per tree, which includes the sapling, soil amendments and care for three years!
