See who’s behind Coffee Wagera’s awesome snacks and desserts!

This is a blog post dedicated to introduce and appreciate our amazing suppliers, because of whom Coffee Wagera is now known for the excellent homemade snacks and desserts, apart from one of the best coffees in Karachi! They all come from different backgrounds with different passions and competence but they all have a few things in common: females; entrepreneurs; able to fulfill commitments; consistency in quality, and a love for Coffee Wagera and it’s business model…

Sonya Khushi and Vijanti Perwani are the women behind Khushi in a Box, the supplier of our awesome brownies and the now-popular lemon cake at Coffee Wagera. Their past clients included the British High Commission, POW, New York Coffee and briefly South City Hospital; their top-selling delicious desserts includes apple pie, lemon cheesecake, oreo-tella shots and cupcakes (also stocked at Agha’s Supermarket) of various varieties. Our collaboration is because of the shared vision of customer happiness, and our innovative and engaging ideas.

Samia Ahmad of Samia’s Kitchen is the maker of our scrumptious Chicken Roti Rolls. She started the kitchen in 2007 and has supplied desi, Chinese and continental food to Unilever, City School, Faysal Bank and many other schools and offices. Samia also loves baking and caters to private parties. She loves working with Coffee Wagera due to our consistent orders/payments and the commitment to support female entrepreneurs.

Shaziya Khan of HomeChef.pk is the lady behind our supreme Egg & Spinach Sandwich and Beef Chapli Kabab Sandwich. She’s been working as a home chef for over 15 years. Shaziya’s inspiration was her grandmother who loved making Hyderabadi Paya Nihari and Kulchaa for breakfast. Shaziya loves tweaking classic Hyderabadi and Indian recipes to create truly special flavors. She likes Coffee Wagera because of our positivity and vision to grow it into a huge franchise.

Anjum Ejaz of Saleema’s Kitchen was the winner of the best Iftar Set and is also the supplier of our Ramadan Chicken Wraps, Mango Sago and Coffee Delight. Anjum had started her food business just a couple of months ago, and was very excited to work with Coffee Wagera due to the interesting challenges: making and packing of the Iftar Set at the low prices, and creating Hong Kong’s popular dessert Mango Sago for the first time.

Coffee Wagera is hoping to expand the range of snacks and desserts after Ramadan and is very interested to meet potential suppliers. Please connect with us through the contact form on this site or the Facebook page
