Coffee Wagera hosted a special dinner for some very special people – the managers of all outlets – at Clock Tower rooftop! One of the highlights of the evening were the personalized thank-you mugs that Mush presented to each one of them, as a small token of appreciation for their loyalty, dedication and full support of all CW values!
Following are short stories of all the managers:
Coffee Wagera – Badar: Arshad Ali
Arshad completed his Intermediate studies and started career in 2015 from Gloria Jeans as a helper and soon became a barista. Afterwards he worked at New York Pizza, Berlin Gyro, Burger Lab, and Usmania Restaurant to name a few before he joined Coffee Wagera as a barista in Sep, 2019 at the badar outlet. He was promoted to shift supervisor at CW-Badar in Jan, 2020 and now he’s been promoted as a Manager!
Arshad is one of the best supervisor CW ever had and loved by many due to his dedication and enthusiasm.
Arshad says: “Coffee Wagera ka environment bohat acha hai. Mush family ki tarah treat kartay hain or bohat help kartay hain. Meri sari professional grooming Coffee Wagera me hi huwi hai. Mein poori shift run karta hu or Insha Allah poora outlet run kar sakta hu.”
Coffee Wagera – Maskan: Christopher Wilson
Christopher started working part-time at Pizza One while studying. Then he worked at OPTP before joining CW-Maskan in Nov, 2019 as a helper. He worked hard, learned barista skills and got promoted to Barista position very soon after joining. And now he’s been promoted as the Manager!
Christo has a lot of ambition: mastering barista skills, managing the outlet and resuming his studies. When not at CW, Christo loves watching movies.
He says: “Asad Bhai or Mehwish Aapi bohat achay hen, apnay bachon ki tarah har cheez sikhayi hai mujhay. Har buray kaam par toktay hain or achay kaam par lazmi appreciate kartay hain. Aagay barhnay k lye motivate kartay hain. Mush Sir bhi bohat appreciate kartay hain. Coffee Wagera bohat achi jaga hai, yahan mujhay Christmas par specially 2 din chutti bhi milti hai.”
Coffee Wagera – 5star: Nabeel Rizvi
Nabeel started his career in 2013 from Gloria Jeans. He joined Coffee Wagera in March 2018, and helped Mush with the setup and launch in April. He was instrumental in implementing Mush’s vision and plans for excellent beverages, top notch customer service and building a great team.
In mid-2019, Nabeel joined another brand which he now considers a mistake. We got him back as a manager for CW-5star when it opened in Dec 2019. And now there’s no looking back for him!
Nabeel says: “Mere career mein sab se zyada learning Coffee Wagera mein huwi hai. Mush ke sath mera family bond ban gaya hai. Mene Mush se bohat kuch seekha hai or khushi hoti hai jab Mush meri tareef karte hain or appreciate karte hain. Franchise owners bhi bohat achay hain. Poori franchise ki zimedari mujh pe rehti hai or bohat acha lagta hai sab achay se manage kar ke.”
Coffee Wagera – Bahardurabad: Iqbal Hassan
Iqbal started his career in 2016 with Burger Lab. He joined Coffee Wagera – Bahadurabad (previously called Coffee Wagera – Sharfabad) in Dec 2019 as a helper. He learned barista skills and was soon promoted to Barista, then Supervisor within six months. He took a break and re-joined on the same position and soon got promoted as the Manager in Dec, 2020. When he’s not at CW, he loves to play video games.
Iqbal says: “Coffee Wagera se kafi achi cheezen seekhi hain jese order taking or customer service. Owners bohat achay hain, Mush kafi cheezen sikhate hain. CW ka welcoming style mujhe personally bohat pasand hai, pehli baar dekha hai kisi Cafe mein or bohat acha lagta hai.“
Coffee Wagera – Autobahn: Ronica Sana Grace
-The only female manager across the seven locations of CW!
-Ronica started working during her studies and pursued her professional career after completing her BA. She had worked at Pizza Point, Pizza Hut, Domino’s and KFC before joining CW in Nov 2020.
-She is the first person at CW who went from Helper to Barista to Supervisor to Manager in just seven months!
-She moved from Karachi to Hyderabad to pursue her career with CW, without knowing anyone here! Ready to face a new city, new employer and new challenge!
She’s already got an immense amount of love and support from the local team and even from customers. Hyderabad rocks, just like Ronica. Hope she inspires everyone in CW, and many in the industry!
Ronica says: “Coffee Wagera main Mush sir se milna hi sb se barra experience tha. Sami Bhai or Nabeel Bhai ki mehnat se main itni achi coffee bana leti hu aaj. Baqi team members bhi bohat achay hain.”
Coffee Wagera – Midway: Sami Ullah
Sami Ullah completed his intermediate studies and started career in 2002. He worked at various places including McDonald’s, Nandos, Sindbad, Gloria Jeans, and some cafes in Malaysia to name a few.
Sami started his journey at Coffee Wagera as a supervisor right after the café opened in April, 2018. Since then he got promoted to Branch Manager at Badar outlet and now serving as Manager for Midway. He aims to own his Café one day.
Sami says: “Mush hume apni family ki tarah treat krte hen or mere liye father jese hen. Aj mera jo naam he, jo respect he, sb Coffee Wagera ki waja se he. Mene yahan se bht kuch seekha he.“
Coffee Wagera – Clifton: Bilal Ahmed
Bilal completed his matric and started his career at Coffee Wagera in 2019. He joined CW as a part-time helper and was promoted to a full-timer within 3 months. He was then promoted to a Barista after an intense training program by our best Baristas at all four outlets. Soon after the launch of CW-Clifton in Feb 2020, he was appointed as a Barista there and got promoted to Manager. His passion and dedication made him an inspiring success story of massive growth in a career for all of us.
Bilal says: “CW ne meri professional growth pe bohat kaam kiya hai. Ek saal ke under hi mujhe part-time helper se supervisor pe promote kiya gaya. Professional grooming, acha atmosphere, or family values, sb bohat acha lagta hai Coffee Wagera ka.“
Mush is the Founder of Coffee Wagara. He has been a sales, marketing, and training expert for over 35 years; he has worked with corporates, leaders, and entrepreneurs in 20 countries. Mush is also the author of Dhinchak Life, a book about living a fantastic life!
